After a wonderful full month off from treatment it’s time to batten down the hatches and say goodbye. My husband is going in for a month (or more) long bone marrow transplant which is supposed take his life expectancy from 5 years to 7 or even more. I know it doesn’t seem like a lot but when your talking how long you’ll live, two years is quite a long time. We’ve said a long goodbye to our vessel, our children and our lives for this temporary healing retreat filled with poisonous medicine, horrible hospital food and aweful smelling bed linens.
I keep telling my husband that after all of this there is a boat sitting there waiting on you, begging to be sailed.
I will be watching a lot of the movie SAMSARA on Netflix, Check it Out!
